I have come up with a list of five weapons that are unorthodox, but promise effectiveness. So, let’s explore the list:
1. Self Defense Keychain
Self defense keychain, as it sounds, is a keychain that can hold your keys. However, it is a very useful self defense weapon as well. It is shaped like a cat’s face.
There are two eyes of a cat and two ears. The two eyes serve as the holes for your knuckles. You can put your two fingers in them and make a strong fist.
Now, you can punch the attacker with the two ears of the cat. Thes ears serve as deadly spikes. These spikes can inflict severe injuries to injure the attacker and serve your survival.
2. Handcuffs
Handcuffs are often used by law enforcement. You must have seen them in the hands of police officers. They use them for arresting the culprits. With these cuffs, you can easily detail someone.
Though they are not popular as self defense weapons; they can be very advantageous. You can use them to arrest the attackers and hand them to the police. You have the keys and you can lock the wrists of the attacker.
Once you lock the wrists, you can easily victimize and brutalize the attacker and then become a responsible citizen by handing him over to the police.
3. Police Baton
Police baton is another self defense weapon which is used by many, but it is not as popular as some of the other weapons. It is actually a small wooden club that can inflict serious injuries.
This wooden club is used by the police for crowd control and detaining the culprits. You can use it as a lethal weapon to deal with the attackers.
Also, it offers greater reach and allows you to tackle the attacker from a distance. So, it is a great choice as a weapon to battle the attackers.
4. Brass Knuckles
Brass knuckles are worn around the knuckles. These are made of brass or metal and are very powerful. They enhance the power in your fist.
Basically, you can use them to punch the attacker in his face. Since they are made of brass, they can inflict severe injuries.
Brass is a powerful and durable material. Hence, if you are equipped with these knuckles, you can easily get rid of the attackers.
5. Push Dagger
A push dagger is yet another unorthodox self defense weapon. It is also not very popular to deal with the attackers, but it can be very useful. It is a small sized dagger with a short blade.
However, the blade is pretty thick. In addition, there is a t-shaped handle which allows stronger grip.
When battling attackers, it can provide better control on the dagger and allow you to inflict severe injuries. All in all, it is a great weapon for defense.
